The National

We recently uncovered a few of these long sold-out posters. An exploratory work for The National from 2010, this one teeters at the edge of legibility and formlessness, but all that negative space seems to hold it together well enough. A true mix of analog improvisation and digital expression. Layers were printed with no formalized plan using hand-painted elements and digital forms, all sculpted to a conclusion through the printing process.
