Visiting Artists

We were delighted to return to Cranbrook in 2018 as visiting artists invited by the Print Media department. During our stay we worked directly with students and Artist in Residence, Susan Goethel Campbell, to produce a large-scale relief/screen print edition as well as laying the groundwork for a print in our Shape Song series. Guided by Susan's expertise and the boundless energy of the Print Media graduate students, were able to pack in two print editions and enough studio visits to fuel 2018. Cranbrook's unique environment lends itself to intense studio time and heightened conversation. We feel lucky to have had the chance to traverse both the 2D and Print Media departments across two consecutive semesters to experience the dense legacy and ongoing output of its students and course leaders.
