This is poster is for the electro trash clash smash / performance art ensemble Fischerspooner. Nadine and I didn’t really know much about the group going into the project, but after a little research, we decided on this futuristic landscape direction. It seemed a good match for their 80’s leaning electronic pop tunes, offering an atmosphere rather directly linking an image with the music. Somehow this poster simultaneously references Mead Trapper Keepers and Yuichi Yokoyama. A big thanks to Mike Novak for the advice on the type treatment and placement!
