Thanks to Phil Spirito from oRSo for pointing A Hawk and a Hacksaw our way! These guys play a fiercely energetic brand of folk music culled from eastern European tradition. We wanted this tour poster to reflect this some how and went through a lot of versions before deciding on this Max Bill inspired image. Strict geometry is found in many traditional art forms, so we felt this did the trick without being too obvious. The faux shadow at the bottom really makes this for me!
