Jason Noble is a much beloved musician who helped define an era of underground rock in the 90’s and 00’s with his work in Rodan, Rachel’s, and Shipping News. Earlier this year he was diagnosed with cancer. To help with Jason’s mounting medical fees, long time band mate, Jeff Mueller, put together a limited edition box set of prints featuring the work of Casey Burns, Mat Daly, Dan Grzeca, Dan MacAdam, Dan McCarthy, Jeff Mueller, Jay Ryan, Kerri Sancomb, Diana Sudyka, Brady Vest, Steve Walters, and myself. I was extremely proud to have been able to be a part of the series. While I don’t know Jason personally, his music has been a steady part of my life for the past 14 years. These box sets sold out in a matter of hours, raising a real chunk of money for Jason’s treatment. A real testament to the power of community and art. “Powerful Humans, Powerful Prints” was a limited edition of 100 sets.
