Chicago’s own Green Lantern Gallery and Press commissioned us to design and print the cover of this fine book. Nick was also asked to produce music for an accompanying 7″ record!
We are very happy to announce that The North Georgia Gazette of 1821 is out and released from our friends over at The Green Lantern Gallery and Press. Nick designed and printed the book cover back in the winter time and couldn’t be happier with how the finished produce looks. He also provided some reading music for the book in the form of a one-sided 7″. The sounds were created from an arcane process of making molds of existing records using glue and paper. Real live vinyl records were then produced using this source material. This book is an amalgamation of information. The starting point being the reproduction of a newspaper produced by arctic explorers almost 200 years ago. If you like arctic literature, don’t pass up on the opportunity to have a copy of this fine edition.
