Green Lantern Press is a small but highly prolific publishing press here in Chicago. They are unique in many ways from curating, to readings, and to what they publish. They have a true vision for their catalog and they have taken advantage of the contemporary print culture in an innovative way by integrating small printing presses in the production of their book series.
Each book cover is designed and printed by an artist in a limited run. All covers are custom bound with a screen printed cover. Many of our colleagues such as Mat Daly, and Dan McAdam have done beautiful work with Green Lantern Press. So we were pretty psyched to have been considered for these projects.
We just received three of the books that we designed and printed covers for (still awaiting our last one from 2009, yes!). These are available now at the famous Quimby’s store and also through Green Lantern Press’ Store.
